Panel: Company Culture: It's Not Skin Deep
A lot of companies have sweet snacks, shuttles, and even laundry services that are designed to motivate people to work long hours and never go home. Creating a better workplace requires considering the whole person – promoting fitness, involving families, letting workers interact as friends, providing fulfilling work, and reaching out to the community – not just filling up employees with Oreos and IPAs. In this session, panelists will share strategies for integrating work and personal life for employees, with offerings like bring your family to work day and cooking classes for partners. By helping employees stay active, healthy, and connected with their friends and family, companies can help them do better work and be better people.
