Doug is the CTO at Kumu Wellness, where he oversees the ongoing development of the Kumu app.  As CTO, Douglas was instrumental in building the current team culture at Kumu as well as the ideation of the Kumu Wellness app in 2014.

Kumu is a mobile Wellness Coaching app that connects clients to real Wellness Coaches to help them achieve their health and fitness goals.

Recently, Douglas premiered Kumu Wellness at the Samsung Developer Conference and spoke on automation at Google’s Developer Conference. Doug frequently delivers keynote presentations at well-known conferences and events in the Mobile Health & Wellness space.

Prior to joining Kumu, Douglas was the CTO at GOOD Magazine where he was responsible for the movement of GOOD’s content online, as well as the development of a social network for social good. Doug has also held senior roles at Blurb, CustomInk, and other well-known startups.
